| The Los Angeles talk show host of the 1960s? One thing might help is the spelling. I believe it was "Pyne." |

Thanks for the correct spelling! No wonder I've been having such a tough time. Any ways I am not familiar with Mr. Pyne, I am looking for a gift for a friend so any links or direction would still be appreciated. Thanks.

| I remember Joe Pyne doing a 1960's syndicated talk show. He was an ex-marine, lost a leg in World War II. He would have guests who were totally opposite his opinions, the he would have a grand old time just ripping them to shreds. In the 60's this was really violent television. I know he passed away at least 25 years ago. |

KLAC, owned then by Metromedia, put him on TV late Saturday nights in L.A. on their station, KTTV Channel 11, and that was also syndicated around the nation. Was famous for telling callers he disagreed with to go gargle with razor blades, or similar shouting matches with listeners/callers. Too bad he was |
