There are about 4-5 shows from 1945-1949 and 1950 available ..I have one of them. The Mutual radio network program was so popular MC Jack Bailey and the complete format moved easily into daytime network Television. For more information see below great site.

I have at least 3 QUEEN FOR A DAY broadcasts on cassette. One of the broadcasts was a special episode where the men could be selected "King For A Day" (not to be confused with the famous Fred Allen Show wher Jack Benny had his pants pulled off while the program was still on the air). The winner was a tall man who wanted a king size bed.

Since I purchased all but 1 broadcast through the former Radio Yesteryear, it's possible Radio Spirits (who acquired Radio Yesteryear) might have these broadcasts.

The show Queen For A Day takes on new meaning in these liberal times. :) Imagine the show with an audience all in drag?

Um, er, just kidding (sort of).

hahahaha--JIM...too funny! (But, nowadays, with all other crazy stuff on the air-ways...it would probably work!)

HEY! I said it as a JOKE. But y'know, I bet some cable network would run it! Let me think. Draw up a program treatment. Notorize it. Send it to myself and an attorney. Buy a three-piece suit. Go to New York because I don't know anybody in LA. Go to (DELETED), (DELETED), adn (DELETED) with the idea.

heh!

Hey, could have celebreties in drag, cops in drag, guess who the famous star is in drag. Male & females in drag.
