Please verify if the following OTR radio personalities are still alive --
* George Ansbro * Art Gilmore * Fred Foy I swear that I have seen obits of these folks in the local daily paper here. And now I find out that people are talking about these people being at OTR conventions. Either we have a bunch of knaves running the local paper, or .... So please advise. Thank you! Jim Stokes |

All three are alive and well! I talked to them this weekend at the Friends of Old Time Radio Convention in Newark. They said to tell you that (in Mark's Twain's words) that reports of their demise have been greatly exaggerated. And yes, they are all in excellent health and voice. Ansbro is even touting his new autobiography called "I have a Lady in the Balcony."

| Thanks Jack! All three are national treasures. Sorry I missed the convention. Too derned many things going on here. I will be in New York later this week. But that's a week late as far as the convention went. |
