Appx 1960s radio skit between 2 women which end in the famous line, "Does that mean you're not coming???".
Please could someone help me find a copy or give me names of the radio personalities. Thanks so very much. |

There was a routine like that is "Our Miss Brooks" on radio between English teacher Miss Brooks and her landlady. And the Lucille Ball radio show, "My Favorite Husband" had a skit like that. I don't recall if both shows made it into the 60's however.
It's really a form of an old vaudeville routine where excuse upon outlandish excuse is said by one parner in the routine. And at length, the straight man partner will say, "does that mean you're not coming" or some variation thereof. That routine genre was used a lot on the "Duffy's Tavern" radio show. |
