Does anyone know the where abouts of a record with nothing but old time radio jingles on it? Someone told me there was one in existence. Looking for specifically-Fitch Shampoo, Ralston, and Pepsi Cola.

This may be of some help. I have an LP of Television's Greatest Hits, which has a lot of TV themes. They might have turned out a radio commercial album as well. Don't know if this company is still in business. But here is their address off the back of the album -- TeeVee Toons, Inc, 220 Central Park South, Suite 2-B, New York, NY 10019. Years ago there was an LP of just the intros to the shows. That was called Themes Like Old Times.
And when I called a Los Angeles production company some years ago, they were playing old radio spots. I think that company was called Waves. I don't have their phone number. Listed as either Hollywood or Los Angeles. That's the best I can do for you. At least you have some leads. Jim |

Last year, I put together a cassette tape of different radio jingles from my radio cassette library. Although I didn't add the jingles for Fitch Shampoo, Ralston, and Pepsi Cola to the tape, I do have them on other tapes.

Adventures in Cassettes (previously owned by Metacom) no longer exists. Radio Spirits absorbed it a couple of years ago.

| I have the tunes to the Ralston and Pepsi-Cola jingles (among others) chicken-scratched out onto sheet music as part of a commercial medley from a show I did. I can send them to you if it would be at all |
