I am looking at the possibility of putting together a show of old time radio for Halloween, and presenting it on stage, like the old broadcasts with audiences. One of the shows I was remember is about a dismembered hand that killed people. I don't remember the name of the show, since I heard it a long time ago on the Dr. Demento show.
Does anyone know of a show like this? And does anyone have advice on what I need to know to get rights to perform these shows? Or even tips on finding recordings of music for radio shows. If any of you OTR enthusiasts have any ideas or advice that would help me bring these shows to life, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Sounds to me like "THE BEAST WITH FIVE FINGERS." I recall it as a movie starring Peter Lorre. Would adapt well into radio.

| I do have a FEAR ON FOUR broadcast of THE BEAST WITH FIVE FINGERS. This was broadcast on the BBC. A very frightening show. |

| There was an episode of 'The Mysterious Traveler' called 'The Hands that Killed'. I've never heard it, but it sounds like as good a bet for what you're looking for as any. |
