I had a request from someone to help them find information on a radio newscaster they heard in Los Angeles, on the radio in the '40s...They told me the newsman's name was William Winter, but I've never heard of him.
Does anybody else know anything about this man? Was he only on Los Angeles radio, or was he also on one of the nation networks? So, if anyone thinks this rings a bell, a Los Angeles radio newscaster on the air in the 1940s named William winter, please respond if you think you have nay further information. Thanks. |

The only two places I ever heard William Winter were:
CBS's Pearl Harbor coverage (he was their man in San Francisco) In the 1970's on Pacifica network stations. You might want to follow the link I have provided and ask them. Good Luck, Eric Cooper |
