Received the following letter, and thought perhaps someone out there would have some knowledge that might help? Thanks in advance, Janet "I am particularly interested in anything authored by my uncle, Beirne Lay, Jr. (12 O'Clock High) or produced by the BBC during the war years - my mother was a writer and producer, produced both the VE Day and VJ Day shows. Name: Brigid Maas. Later, Brigid Maas Lay. And you know, while you're at it -- my father, John Hunter Lay, wrote a number of March of Time pieces - I don't think the authoris received any attribution back then - but would there be a way to research it? Thank you for any assistance you can give." Libby (Lay) Wilder

I was extremely impressed by the cooperation of the BBC folks on a project I undertook. Their research site at Reading is superb. Try contacting them through nigel.mcalpine@bbc.co.uk He can forward your message to the proper people.
