Hi! Just came across this BBS, and thought maybe I could recruit the participants to my own selfish ends! Just kidding. Actually, I was wondering if anyone out there can help me locate some episodes of 'Mysterious Traveler'. I'm looking for any or all of the following titles: 'Five Miles Down' 'Escape to 2480' 'World of Tomorrow' '50,000 BC' 'The Fourth Dimension'
These are tough episodes to find. Any leads on where I might buy or trade for them would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Don't know about those shows. But I have a true story to tell you about The Mysterious Traveler (TMT). I was about four years old when it was my bedtime back on the farm. My folks had on the TMT one night. You know when the train goes by on the show? Well danged if a REAL train went by our house at that time! Yep. The farm house was about 100 feet from the railroad track! Wow, was I scared. And my folks went outside to see what the heck was going on. And unscheduled run. That was the train going to Newark, South Dakota, just up the road. So that would have been either the Milwaukee or the Great Northern. Talk about a scary coincidence. From they on, I always had a shadow of a doubt about the REAL-ity of TMT.

| Whoops. I must have hit the wrong button. I just put in a true story about the Mysterious Traveler. I will make this shorter. The show had a train sound effect. This particular night, the train happened to go by our house late at night at the same time! Real train |
