I purchased, at a local flea market, a boxed set of four cassette tapes titled, "Tales of Mystery and Suspense" which consisted of eight episodes of the program "Suspense" from the early 40's. The set was marketed by "America Before TV". Can anyone tell me about this set and whether others were marketed?

I bought mine from "Wirelss" a mail order catalog company. Four sets, Vol. 1,2,3,4. Each contained 12 tapes, 24 shows per set. They also sold some Dragnet collections.

AMERICA BEFORE TV also produced a set of 12 cassette tapes titled "A Day from the Golden Age of Radio", September 21, 1939. That is a complete day of broadcasting from that date. I've had the set for several years, but can't recall exactly when I purchased it.
