Apparently there was an old children's show UNCLE REMOS on the radio Mon-Fri around 5 PM. These were the wonderful stories of Braer Rabbit, Braer Fox and Braer Bear, but, apparently because they were black folk tales, they were, like Amos 'n' Andy, black listed. It has been long gone, and I just wondered if there are any existing copies, or if anyone has any information regarding the show? Thanks in advance for any information.

Although there are 26 episodes of this show floating around today in various private archives, we know relatively little about this series. It may have been syndicated. Dates of origin vary, but it was probably in the 1930s. It ran 15 minutes with commercials, but the existing copies run 10 without them. Fred L. Jeske played the title role. Stories were taken from the original ones by Joel Chandler Harris.
