Barbara J. Watkins, a mainstay of SPERDVAC, would like to know the identity of the young actor who played "Tommy", the little brother of Betty Colby, on Mel's show.
Barbara is not "on-line" but if you're post an answer here, I'll relay it to her. |

I would like to jump in here and ask what is SPERDVAC's mailing address now? Do they still maintain a newsletter? I wrote to their old address a while back and it came back, "no such address."
Or is there a SPERDVAC web site? Thank you! Jim Stokes jstokes@mninter.net |

Jim,
I don't know what old address you had, but they can be reached at P.O. Box 7177, Van Nuys, CA 91409-7177. They also have a home page on the web site of Jerrry Haendiges. Go to www.otrsite.com and scroll down the menu to "OTR Clubs". You'll find SPERDVAC and Metro Washington OTR Club there. Jack French Editor: RADIO RECALL |

Thanks, Jack.
RE-- Mel Blanc. Some trivia about the cartoons he was in. He didn't do ALL the voices. I interviewed June Foray a couple of years ago. And she said she was the voice of the cute lady skunk in the Pepe LePew cartoon(s). And she was un-credited. Alas! BTW, June Foray is still around. She did voices in the Rocky & Bullwinkle movie, as eveyone probably knows anyway. Jim Stokes |

| June Foray was also a regular member of Stan Freberg's "stock company" in his heyday; it included Daws Butler and Peter Leeds. Freberg, incident |
