When did the Merry Macs debut this song? My mother seems to vividly remember it from about 1940-42 on a Tuesday evening. I can't find a reference to the show (if any) the Merry Macs were part of except Fred Allen up to 1940.

| I don't know of a specific radio show featuring The Merry Macs but the song was a 1943 big hit and was certainly sung on "Your Hit Parade". It was copyrighted in l943, introduced by Al Trace and his Orche |
