Pardon me, but this is kind of unusual. I've heard many times on the old radio networks of upcoming episodes of this and that but I've never heard anyone say that they're going to air "Mr. District Attorney", or "The FBI in Peace and War" or "David Harding, Counterspy". Have these shows gone the way of the carrier pigeon and flown the coop. Many of these old shows I can recall the characters moving on to TV, Movies and most notable, the soaps. I'd appreciate any comeback.

I don't know about the play these programs get on the internet or over the air but they have not "flown the coop."
I tried David Harding, Counterspy (which I'd never heard of) in the Humungous OTR Database Search Engine and found 22 episodes available from 8 suppliers. I'll bet the other 2 shows would produce far more episodes. |

I sure wonder how many episodes of Counterspy WITH the PEPSI COLA commercials are available on tape? I loved the music and the L-A-V-A song that accompanied the FBI in Peace and War too. How about the rat-ah-tat-tat of the tommy gun in Gangbusters but better yet nothing sounded creepier than that squeeking door on that program my folks didn't want me to listen to for fear of bad dreams. The host was named Raymond, I believe, what was the name of that show? Was it Inner Sanctum?? Goood eveening......

Wouldn't you know it! You make a statement about something not being there, and it pops right up. The other night on a local Toronto OTR station, "Mr. District Attorney", starring David Brian. It wasn't as I recall the program I remember. David Brian was a rather too-soft voice of a performer in that role, Can anyone re-call a later actor? The actor playing "Harrington" was also not the one I remember. Did they revamp this program. P.S. I had mentioned "David Harding", Counterspy as another lost sound but I do remember the actor playing the role was "Don McLaughlin" who later went on to a role in a TV soap.

The part of Mr. District Attorney was played by Jay Jostyn when I was a youngster listening to it. Harrington was played by Len Doyle and Miss Miller by Vicki
