From 1966 to 1981, I rebroadcast Old-Time Radio shows over WCRB and WBUR in Greater Boston A couple of days after Brett Morrison, who played "The Shadow" died, I produced a special tribute to him over WBUR and then rebroadcast 2 episodes of "The Shadow." I subsequently donated my personal library of over 2500 OTR shows to the Mugar Library and found the reel-tape version of the Morrison Tribute but the air-date was ineligible. If someone can supply the date of Morrison's demise, I'll be happy to give him/her a cassette copy of the Tribute.

Hi Van, Jack French is correct about the date of Bret Morrison's death. I remember reading his obit in the paper. If my memory serves me, he died in his car in the Los Angeles area. The coroner said he died from the excessive heat that the area was experiencing that day. Regards, George Miller

I want to tell you how much I enjoyed your program on WBUR. It was the only source of OTR in the Boston area at the time and was always a pleasure to listen to. I still listen to my cassettes of that period. Please accept my thanks--heartfelt though twenty y
