Going by years, the program was on the air from 1938-1942 on NBC(Blue) for Williams Shave Cream and Aqua Velva

1942-1943 on the Blue Network also for Williams Shave Cream and Aqua Velva.

The program went off the air from 1943-1948.

It returned to the air on the Mutual network for Shotwell Candy Company (makers of Big Mac and Hi-Yank Candy Bars) from 1948-1949.

Went off the air from 1949-1950.

On the air on Mutual for Anahist Antihistamine Tablets and Anahist Atomizer in 1950, and Mutual briefly as a sustaining program in 1951.

It went off the air again from 1951-1953.

Returned briefly on Mutual in 1953 under Co-Operative Local Sponsors

Off the air from 1953-1954.

The program returned to the air from 1954-1955 on Mutual under Co-Op Local Sponsors.

Off the air briefly in 1955.

Returned one last time in December 1955 on Mutual as a Sustaining program.

Somewhere along the line, I have found Serutan as a sponsor, but no accurate time it sponsored the program. It could be under the Co-Op Local Sponsors listings, but I'm not sure.

I know there is a broadcast still in existence. It was under a special package of the Pearl Harbor attacks RADIO YESTERYEAR had. Now that RADIO SPIRITS, INC. took over RADIO YESTERYEAR, you may want to check with them.

If all else fails, I have a copy of the broadcast from the Pearl Harbor series I bought from RADIO YESTERYEAR 7 years ago. The audio isn't the best, but you want a copy E Mail me at dg125@earthlink.net.

There isn't any mention of Bud hosting QUICK AS A FLASH. Ken Roberts, Win Elliott, and Bill Cullen hosted that program.

I'm not saying that my findings is the ultimate answer, because Bud might have hosted the 2 programs you mentioned or was the program's announcer--- and I simply don't it.

Since you mentioned Bud and Serutan together, there is a definite connection on the TV front. Of course, Bud hosted TO TELL THE TRUTH--- and Serutan was one of the first sponsors of the program with Geritol, Sominex, and Zarumin.

Sorry you were unable to E mail my address. I will begin taping your copy of the TRUE OR FALSE program immediately. The audio isn't the greatest in the world, but the human ear can understand what is said. I hope to get in the "Snail Mail" tomorrow (July 31).
