| Does anyone know if actress Suzan Ball did any radio work? She sang with Mel Baker's band in the late 1940s and broke into acting in 1952. She made films from 1952 until her death in 1955. She was very much in the news during her short career and may have done radio work but I don't know for sure and hope someone out there can help me. There are no references to her in standard radio source books. Since she began acting, as you've stated, in 1952 in films and died three years later, it's very unlikely she did any radio work. Movie work paid a helluva lot more than radio acting in the 50s. Besides TV was overtaking radio in the early 50s and only established radio stars were finding work on network radio.
