| I also recall hearing that on the radio, but can't recall on what show. You might try going page-by-page through a book like "The Big Broadcast" by Buxton and Owen and see if you find it mentioned in their descriptions of the programs. | Just a hunch, but there's at least one old WB cartoon that uses that phrase. I THINK it's intended as a parody of "Believe It or NOT!" (as in Ripley's, which aired as a radio series and a series of film shorts in the 30's-40's). It's yet another wonderful WWII-e |
